Hurriyet leaders visit family of slain Sikh youth in Jammu

Srinagar, June 15, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, a delegation of the forum led by the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani visited R S Pora area of Jammu and met the family of the Sikh youth who was killed in police firing, recently.

The youth was killed during a protest over removal of posters of Khalistan leader Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale in Jammu in the first week of June. The forum in a statement issued in Srinagar said that a delegation led by Haji Ghulam Nabi Sumji visited the residence of the slain youth and participated in a condolence meeting.

The Hurriyet leaders extended the condolence message of Syed Ali Gilani to the father of the victim and expressed solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved family. They told the family members that after Muslim youths the communal regime had now started to stifle the Sikh community by killing their youth. The spokesman said the leaders told the family that the fanatic Hindu forces want to accomplish their Hindutva agenda in the territory.
