Govt to extend every possible assistance to promote Hockey in Sindh: Murad

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali shah has assured that his government will extend every possible assistance to promote Hockey in the province.

He was talking to President Pakistan Hockey Federation Brigadier retired Mohammad Khalid Sajaad Khokhar who called on him at Chief Minister's house in Karachi on Thursday.

Sindh Minster for Sports Sardar Mohammad Bux Mahar and secretary General Pakistan Hockey federation Shahbaz Ahmed senior were also present on the occasion.

Syed Murad Ali Shah assured him that Sindh government will help the federation if it starts hockey in Hyderabad, Sukkur and Larkana divisions.

Syed Murad Ali shah said on the occasion that Blue turf has been installed at Hockey stadiums in Sukkur, Larkana, Hyderabad and Shaheed Benaziarabad Hockey stadiums to promote the game in the province.

The President Pakistan Hockey Federation informed Chief Minister on the occasion that Hockey Nishan-e-Haider will start from fourth of the next month in the Karachi.
