Govt spent Rs 33bn for development of youth in tribal districts: Dar

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar says the government has spent thirty-three billion rupees for development of youth in tribal districts under the Kamyab Jawan program.

Talking to Special Assistant to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Information Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif in Peshawar today [Saturday], he said the government has also provided fifty thousand employment opportunities to youth of these districts under this flagship project.

The Special Assistant said a total of five-hundred youth have been given loan in Peshawar while about one-thousand employment opportunities have also been provided.

During the meeting, matters pertaining to development projects for youth came under discussion.

In his rermarks, Barrister Saif said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is empowering youth and making them professionals by initiating skill-based programmes.
