Gilani’s forum concerned over arrest of Hurriyet leader

Srinagar, April 10, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the forum patronized by the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, has expressed concern over the arrest of Hurriyet leader, Mufti Abdul Ahad Rehmani, and his shifting to an unknown location by the Indian police.

The forum spokesman in a statement in Srinagar warned the puppet authorities of serious consequences if anything untoward happened to the detained leader. He said that all documentation of the incident had been completed and all human rights organizations would be informed about it. The spokesman said that the police raided the house of Mufti Abdul Ahad Rehmani in Tarzoo, Sopore, on the night of April 8 and not only harassed the family members but also ransacked the household goods.
