Gilani calls for complete shutdown in Kulgam tomorrow

Srinagar, June 22, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, expressing deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of three youth at Redwani in Kulgam has called for complete shutdown in the district, tomorrow.

On the directions of Syed Ali Gilani, a Hurriyet delegation comprised Haji Ghulam Nabi Sumji, Ameer Hamza Shah, Mohammad Shaban Dar, Bashir Ahmad Qurashi and Zahoor-ul-haq Gilani visited the Redwani Bala village and participated in the funeral prayers of the martyrs and also took part in the protest demonstration there.

Paying rich tributes to the mujahideens, Syed Ali Gilani said that it was the worst kind of state terrorism. He said that the huge participation of the common people in the funeral processions of the two youth, whom the army termed as Mujahideen, was causing frustration to the Indian forces and on the occasions they in the revenge kill any of the civilian out of the frustration.

The veteran Hurriyet leader said that similar situation happened in Kulgam that soon after the muhajideen were trapped a siege and search operation, the people showed extreme love and affection for them and displayed their enthusiasm in owning the muhajideen which frustrated and irritated the Indian forces and they martyred a civilian in the revenge.

Syed Ali Gilani said that due to the rigidity and stubbornness of India, the loss of precious human lives was continued in Kashmir. He urged the Indian rulers to accept the ground realities and resolve the lingering Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
