Fog and bad weather disrupts Pakistan International Airlines flights

Karachi, December 26, 2014 (PPI-OT): Heavy fog and bad weather in Punjab led to diversion and cancellation of a number of PIA flights during last couple of days. This lead to overcrowding and violence at airports and terminals.PIA Management and staff offers unconditional apology to our valued passengers for the inconvenience and in-comfort due to cancellation and or diversion of flights unforeseen.

Chairman PIA Nasser Jaffer took serious note of this chaos at airports and assigned senior executives to be present at terminals round the clock to solve the passengers problems and rebuild the credibility of National Flag carrier. Chairman PIA also directed to revamp the Human Resource at operating level to tackle and facilitate the valued passengers at their satisfaction.

PIA regrets the inconvenience caused to its passengers at airports due to flights delayed, diversion and or cancellation because of the thick fog in Punjab. PIA Management reaffirmed to extend highest degree of passenger services to overcome their calamities and difficulties and ensure to provide comforts and convenience to its passengers.
