Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry condemns deadly attack on Shuja Khanzada

Karachi, August 17, 2015 (PPI-OT):Mian Muhammad Adrees, President of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) alongwith other Office Bearers and S.M. Muneer, Leader of the Business Community and Former President of FPCCI; Mr. Iftikhar Ali Malik, Former President of FPCCI; Mr. Zubair Tufail and other high hierarchy of FPCCI have condemned the cowardly act of terrorism resulting martyrdom of the Punjab Home Minister Shuja Khanzada and 15 people and injuring more than 20 others.

They while expressing their grieve and sorrow on the tragic assassination of Senior Provincial Minister who was at the forefront in the ongoing fight against militants and banned sectarian groups said that the whole nation, including the business community, is united against the eradication of terrorism and determined to make our country the land of peace and tranquillity. “such dastardly / cowardly attempts cannot dent our national resolve to eliminate the menace” they added.

Paying glorious tribute to Shuja Khanzada, the high hierarchy of FPCCI leadership said that he was a bold officer whose sacrifice for the greater cause of cleansing Pakistan would not go waste. “The courage and valour of Shuja Khanzada is a message to the masterminds of terrorists and war lords that they are bound to be defeated” they warned.

The top brass of FPCCI leadership urged the Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Army Staff to track down the perpetrators involved in the deadly attack on the Minister and other innocent people, initiate high handed proceeding against them and their outfits /accomplices and awarding them an exemplary punishment.
