Fayaz Leghari calls on Qaim Ali Shah

Karachi, July 12, 2012 (PPI-OT): Newly posted I.G Police Sindh Mr. Fayaz Leghari today called on Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah at C.M House. Chief Minister Sindh while talking to I.G Police Sindh said that the maintenance of law and order is priority of the government and full efforts be made to restore the peaceful atmosphere in the province particularly in the Karachi, which is economic hub of the country.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that it is prime responsibility of law enforcing agencies particularly the Police and Rangers to devotedly bring results, while the LEA’s should take prompt action against criminals, and anti-social elements on war footing manners.

He added that Holy month is coming and we have to adopt security measures including patrolling of police force, manning in police security pickets and curbing the menace of Bhattakhors and robbers. Chief Minister Sindh also directed that Police department should daily brief the media and pressmen about the latest progress and achievements against criminals.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah also asked the I.G Police Sindh to maintain prompt security arrangements at various trade centres, commercial bazaars, markets and mandis, particularly the wholesale trade area particularly in old city commercial area.

I.G Police Sindh assured the Chief Minister Sindh that round the clock security measures will be ensured and special measures will be adopted during Holy month of Ramzan. He also appraised the Chief Minister Sindh about security plan envisaged by Sindh police to strictly maintain law and order in the province specifically in Karachi.
