The European Union and the United States expressing concern over increasing tensions in the north of Kosovo have urged the parties to de-escalate tensions amicably.
In a joint statement, both US and EU are working with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti to find a political solution in order to defuse the tensions.
It stressed on everyone to exercise maximum restraint and take immediate action to unconditionally de-escalate the situation.
