Dr. Khatumal Jeewan blasts Indian propaganda on Pakistan minorities

Karachi, October 06, 2016 (PPI-OT):Special Assistant to Chief Minister, Sindh for Minority Affairs Dr Khatumal Jeewan has condemned the Indian-sponsored international propaganda over the plight of minorities, especially Hindus in Pakistan to divert world attention from gravest atrocities in Indian occupied Kashmir.

In a press statement, the Minority politician and PPP leader who had been elected to the National and Provincial Assemblies and the Senate for eight times since 1988 said that both hands and mouth of Indian government were stained with the blood of Dalits, Muslims and Kashmiris. “Entire world knows that world’s horrific human rights violations and apartheid was going on in India since independence. The international community should force India and its Modi government from continuing the atrocities against minority communities,” he added.

Dr Khatumal Jeewan said by giving admission to two Hindu girls from Pakistan in medical colleges, Indian External Affairs Minister Sushima Swarj wants to dupe the world as thousands of Hindu boys and girls are studying in Pakistani medical, engineering and business universities without any organized discrimination. He said that some recent protests outside the UN Human Rights Council against so-called atrocities on minorities in Pakistan were an eye-wash as minorities are much safer in Pakistan than their counterparts in India.

PPP leader praised the Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for his commitment to the cause of Kashmir people and thanked him for being in the forefront for protection of minorities. “Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has given three berths in the Sindh Cabinet to the minorities and nominated 18 Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of District, Municipal and Town Committees to empower them in Local governance,” he added.

Dr Khatumal Jeewan further said that Muslims and non-Muslims citizens of Pakistan are united under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and would stand by him in the nation’s struggle for a peaceful, prosperous and united Pakistan.
