Doctors advise general public to take precautionary measures against Nagleria, Dengue, Malaria diseases

Karachi, June 10, 2015 (PPI-OT): Doctors has advised general public to take precautionary measures such as cleanliness of homes and surrounding of homes, not accumulate water and use boiled water in daily life in order to keep themselves protected from Nagleria, Dengue, Malaria and other fatal diseases.

These advices were given in a free medical camps organized in different areas of Karachi on the directives of Coordinator to Chief Minister Sindh for Human Rights Ms Nadya Gabol in a wake of rising seasonal diseases such as Nagleria and Dengue.

The camps were set up as a part of emergency awareness campaign launched by Human Rights Department Sindh regarding health precautionary measures at Chanesar Goth, Azam Basti, Mehmoodabad and other adjoining areas to provide free medicines and also advices.

Free camps provided medicines, health advices and awareness literature to the resident of the area for protection from diseases rising especially due to water. A large number of house hold ladies reached to the camp where they were advised to keep their home clean and use boiled water in their daily life.

They were also given medicines and briefing regarding health precautionary measures. Medical Aid Committee of Human Rights Department also visited door to door to provide awareness literature to the resident of the area.

Resident of the area welcomed the medical camp and said that such kind of camps should be arranged regularly in their area so that they their ladies could be informed about the health measures. Director Human Rights Sindh Shaukat Memon and Administrator Muhammad Ashfaque also visited the camps and met with the resident of the area.
