DHA Suffa University and AIMST University Malaysia concludes a MoU to promote collaboration in academics and research

Karachi, June 07, 2013 (PPI-OT): DHA Suffa University (DSU), a project of DHA Karachi and AIMST University (formerly The Asian Institute of Medicine, Science and Technology), Malaysia concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote collaboration in academics and research. The MoU between the two universities was formally signed on May 27, 2013 during the visit of the DSU delegation, headed by its Vice Chancellor, Rear Admiral (Retd) Prof. Dr. Sarfraz Hussain to the AIMST University, Malaysia.

The MoU will facilitate students’ mobility, faculty mobility and cooperation in academic programs and research between the two universities. Under the MoU, DSU students would be able to study 1-2 semesters and undertake internship assignments at AIMST University in Malaysia. AIMST University will also help train DSU faculty members in academic leadership and planning. Details of joint-degree programs will also be worked out under the MoU.

The AIMST University is a leading private-sector university in Malaysia having a state of the art campus that spreads over 230 acres of land in the scenic foothill of Penang. Its library is ranked amongst the best 50 university libraries of the world.
