The spokesman Diamer Bhasha Development Company (DBDC) has rejected the reports on social media about not providing employment opportunities to the local people.
In a statement, he said that WAPDA, Diamer Bhasha Dam administration is trying to provide employment to the local people of the project area on priority basis from the first day.
In this regard, a joint employment committee was established to speed up the process of providing employment to local people in the year 2020 as engineers, technical, non-technical staff and laborers.
