Day not far when Kashmiris will get rid of Indian rule: Sehrai

Srinagar, June 12, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the General Secretary of Tehreek-e-Hurriyet Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai has said that the people of Kashmir have rendered unprecedented sacrifices for securing their birthright to self-determination and the ongoing liberation movement would be taken to its logical conclusion at all costs.

Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the day was not far away when Kashmiris would get rid of Indian rule.

He appealed to the world community and international human rights organisations to take notice of rights abuses and put pressure on New Delhi to settle the lingering Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.

Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai criticised the puppet regime for its unconstitutional restrictions on a seminar, scheduled to be held at Hyderpora in Srinagar, a day ago.

“In every civilized society political opponents are allowed to work freely but political traditions are quite different in the occupied territory as legal and moral rights of expression are denied and defied,” he added.
