Commander of the International Security Assistance Force concludes successful meetings with Pakistani Leaders

Islamabad, December 16, 2013 (PPI-OT): General Joseph Dunford, Commander of the International Security Assistance Force, departed Pakistan today after a series of meetings with senior Pakistani leaders. While here, General Dunford discussed security issues with Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Rashad Mahmood, along with other senior military officials.

General Dunford was grateful for the opportunity to meet with his Pakistani counterparts and reaffirmed the importance of the U.S.-Pakistan security relationship to regional stability.
