Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board meets Women’s National Team at National Cricket Academy

Lahore, October 31, 2016 (PPI-OT): Chairman PCB Shaharyar Mohammad Khan visited NCA today to meet Women’s National Team before their departure to New Zealand. Sana Mir, Captain ODI team introduced players to the Chairman PCB. Chairman PCB while addressing the players told them to focus on playing hard cricket but also keep discipline on and off the field. “New Zealand is a cricket loving country, winning and losing is part of the game, play good cricket and be competitive in all departments of the game; give off your best on the field”.

“The team has the potential to win in New Zealand as the same side had beaten India and Bangladesh in the Women’s T-20 Cup held in India”. He welcomed Basit Ali as the new Head-Coach of the team. He hoped under Basit’s coaching the team will perform well and will gain from his experience.
