Benazir Income Support Program has distributed over twenty two billion rupees among around one million families in flood affected areas.

According to a press release, eighty percent of the total identified beneficiaries have been served so far.

Minister for Poverty Alleviation Shazia Marri in statement said that one billion rupees have been allocated under the Benazir Nashonuma Program to meet the nutritional needs of millions of flood-affected pregnant women and children.
