AutoSoft Dynamics names Chief Executive Officer
Karachi, February 24, 2014 (PPI-OT): AutoSoft Dynamics, Pakistan’s leading provider of banking automation solutions, recently announced that it had hired Javed Mushtaq, former CIO of Pakistan Telecommunication Corporation Limited and Warid Telecom, as its CEO.
Effective February 1, 2014 Mr. Javed Mushtaq has joined AutoSoft Dynamics as Chief Executive Officer and Mr. Sultan Ahmed Khan as Head Regional Operations – South in Karachi.
Mr. Mushtaq brings with him over 26 years of experience in developing and implementing complex corporate systems as well as executing organizational strategic direction. He is a former member of AutoSoft’s founding team where he worked as the Director Technical until 2004.
Since then, he moved into various roles outside the company including a Senior Consultant with Telstra in Australia, CIO of PTCL and CIO at Warid Telecom. Throughout his career he has proven himself to be an extraordinary leader and we are delighted to have him back as part of our core leadership.
Lutfullah Khan, Chairman and CEO of the company since 2000, will maintain his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors while Sadia Khan will continue to serve as its Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Sultan Ahmed Khan brings with him more than 45 years of extensive experience in IT within the financial services industry having worked as CIO at Prime Commercial Bank, senior consulting roles with National Bank of Pakistan, United Bank Limited, ABN Amro and NIFT, CIO at Emirates Global Islamic Bank Limited, and most recently as CIO at Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited. He possesses versatile experience in managing complex IT operations, implementing various financial systems and leading data migration projects in large scale commercial banks.
