Aseefa Bhutto Zardari appeals Country’s youth for blood donations
Islamabad: Ms. Aseefa Bhutto Zardari in her message today after donating blood on 58th birthday of her mother Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto appealed to the youth of Pakistan to come forward and generously donate blood for those who are engaged in fight against militants.
She said that the purpose of blood donation was to reaffirm our commitment towards fight against terrorism and militancy and to pay homage to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and to those who shed their blood while taking the challenge of militancy head on.
By offering our blood as a token of our recognition for the services our brave law enforcing agencies personnel’s, we want to convey to all those who are actively engaged in struggle against militants and to those who have suffered from the scourge of militancy that the whole nation stands behind them, she said in her message.
She said that the gift of blood on this very day was one of the best ways to pay homage to the great leader so as to acknowledge her sacrifices for the nation and the country, and to those who embraced martyrdom or sustain injuries while fighting the menace of extremism.
She said that in view increasing demand for blood for the treatment of the injured and the low rate of voluntary blood donations, our youth all across the country have to step forward in a gigantic way and make their contributions by donating blood so as to show solidarity with the valiant personnel’s of outlaw enforcement agencies and the militancy-afflicted people of the country.
