The All Parties Hurriyat Conference, while rejecting the India’s integral mantra on Jammu and Kashmir, says that the unresolved Kashmir dispute has all the ingredients of providing the spark to light nuclear fuse in the South Asian region.
In a statement issued in Srinagar, the APHC cautioned the world, particularly the United Nations that ignoring the simmering situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir is not in anyone’s interest.
The statement said that just solution to the dispute is a prerequisite to end turmoil in the region.
APHC leader Farida Behenji said the morale of Kashmiris is high despite the brutal acts and military force being employed by India to suppress their freedom struggle.
Meanwhile, speakers at a student gathering in the campus of a public university based in Barcelona said that the unresolved conflict over Jammu and Kashmir threatens the international peace and security of the world.
The Chairman of World Forum for Peace & Justice, Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai while addressing the audience explained that the Kashmir dispute had an international dimension because it has the sanctity of the UN Charter and UN Security Council resolutions.
