Aleefuddin Turabi’s demise widely condoled

Srinagar, December 29, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, the forum led by the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, and Hurriyet leaders and organizations have expressed profound grief over the sad demise of noted religious scholar and Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir vice President, Alifuddin Turabi. APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the deceased leader had played an important role in promoting the Kashmir liberation struggle in the world.

The veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani in a statement termed Turabi’s demise as a great loss for the ongoing resistance movement in Kashmir. He said that Turabi was a great supporter and admirer of Kashmir’s struggle.

Similarly, Jamaat-e-Islami of occupied Kashmir, Anjuman Sharie Shian and Hurriyet leaders including Nayeem Ahmad Khan and Zafar Akbar Butt also expressed solidarity over the death of Prof Alifuddin Turabi.
