AJK Assembly passes resolutions, condemns Indian illegal, unconstitutional steps in IIOJK

The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly in its special session has adopted a number of resolutions strongly condemned the Indian illegal and unconstitutional steps, military siege of Kashmiris and incarceration of Hurriyat leaders and workers.

The resolutions were moved by different members strongly condemned the Indian step of denying the fundamental rights of the people by restricting them to their houses for over a year in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The house also condemned settlement of non-state Hindus in the occupied territory.

In the resolutions, the House appealed the UN, Global Human Rights bodies and civilized world to take a serious notice of massive human rights violations by Indian occupation forces in the held valley and demanded to help stop the Indian atrocities on the innocent and oppressed people of Jammu and Kashmir.

It also demanded the UN to compel India roll back its illegal steps taken on August 5, 2019 and restore special status of the disputed territory.
