Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has assured the federal government's full support to the students of Balochistan in their education and skill development.

Speaking at an engagement session with students from Balochistan in Islamabad, he said the government is committed to the speedy implementation of projects in education and development sectors in Balochistan.

Ahsan Iqbal said giving more opportunities and scholarships to the students of Balochistan is the top priority of the government.

He said the scope of Benazir Income Support Programme will be extended to an additional five hundred thousand households in Balochistan to uplift the living standard of the poor in province.

The Minister urged the students to remain vigilant and keep an eye on suspicious activities of anti-state elements.
