Afghan media delegation visits Punjab University
Lahore: An eight-member high-powered media delegation of Afghanistan visited the Punjab University here on Friday. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran, along with other senior faculty members, welcomed the delegation at the Centre for Undergraduate Studies.
Talking to the delegation, Vice-Chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran said that the hearts of the Pakistani nation throbbed in unison with those of the Afghans. He stated that Afghanistan and Pakistan were inseparable and that Afghanistan was the heart beat, not just of Asia, but the entire world where a battle for the future of mankind was being fought.
He stated that the policies of the great powers were not controlled by the people but by a highly powerful cabal of rich families. He stated that these families have divided mankind through repeated deceptions and now wanted a war on the basis of artificially contrived “terrorism’ versus “civilization” conflict.
The very same families had funded the Bolshevik Revolution and Hitler simultaneously and had, subsequent to WW-II duped mankind into the “Communism” versus “Democracy” conflict. Dr Mujahid Kamran stated that since 9/11, NATO forces have been located in oil and gas rich regions or regions through which oil and gas is transported.
The Afghan war, the Iraq war, the Libyan war, the Sudan conflict all were prompted by US and allied agencies in service of their corporate masters. The Vice-Chancellor said that the incredibly brave people of Afghanistan will be able to evict the NATO forces and that Pakistan will also take off and the designs of the One World Cabal will be shattered right here in this part of the world.
The leader of the Afghan delegation thanked the PU administration for its warm hospitality and said that it had become quite clear to the delegation that the academic understood Afghanistan very well.
All Afghan speakers, including Sardar Muhammad Rahimi, Fazal Elahi Shafiqi, Naseem Pashtoom, Muhammad Reza Hawrda, Ghulam Jilani Zwak, Noor Rehman Ikhaliqi, Fazal Rahman Mazhary and Saqib Ahmad, expressed their great happiness at the comprehension of the Afghan situation in the Punjab University.
Vice-Chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran offered 5 scholarships to Afghan students to come to study at PU. The scholarships will cover all expenses of the Afghan students. The meeting unanimously resolved to promote knowledge of nature among Afghans and Pakistanis through a cooperative effort. AlBeruni, one of the greatest scientists of all time was remembered in the meeting.
