Advisor to German Chancellor calls on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif

Islamabad, December 05, 2013 (PPI-OT): Dr. Christoph Heusgen, Advisor to German Chancellor on foreign policy and national security called on the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif today at PM house. They discussed matters related to bilateral cooperation and mutual interest. German Ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Cyrill J. Nunn and Special Advisor to Prime Minister, Mr. Tariq Fatmi were also present at the occasion.

Later Mr. Kyoichi Tanada President Toyota Motors Asia-Pacific also called on the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. Prime Minister appreciated the investment of Toyota Motors in Pakistan and hoped that the company will enhance its capacity utilization with the objective to decrease its cost of production.

The Prime Minister told that government is providing incentives to the investors and hoped that the car manufacturing industry will also benefit from it. Prime Minister said that Auto Industry Policy for the next five years is being prepared which will ensure level playing field for all the auto manufacturers.

Mr. Kyoichi Tanada thanked the Prime Minister for giving him time and expressed his confidence that the manufacturers will benefit from present government policies.

Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also called on the Prime Minister at the Prime Minister house. Sardar Ayaz Sadiq discussed matters relating to parliamentary business with the Prime Minister.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff General Rashad Mahmood and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Asif Sandila called on the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif separately. They discussed Professional Matters and matters relating to National Importance and Security related issues with the Prime Minister.
