Islamabad, February 22, 2023 (PPI-OT):Islamabad capital police Secretariat Police team arrested a wanted member of a bike lifter gang and recovered a stolen motorcycle and drugs from his possession, a police public relations officer said. He said that, a Secretariat police station team utilized all available resources and apprehended an accused involved in drug peddling and bike lifting and recovered a stolen motorbike and 1140 gram hashish from his possession.
The accused was identified as Awais. Cases have been registered against him and further investigation is underway. CPO Operations Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari appreciated the police team efforts and further directed all zonal DPOs to intensify the ongoing crackdown against criminals involved in criminal activities. He said that the safety of the lives and property of the citizens is our prime responsibility and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
