13 outlaws arrested: wine and weapons seized

Islamabad: Islamabad Police on Thursday arrested 13 persons including five women for their alleged involvement in immoral activities, possessing arms and also recovered wine bottles and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.

On a tip off, Station House Officer of Ramna police station Ghulam Muhammad Baqir constituted a special team headed by Sub-Inspector Muhammad Shehbaz r which raided at a house in sector G-12 after getting search warrant.

This team nabbed nine persons including five women for their alleged involvement in immoral activities. The nabbed persons were identified as Majid Ali, Zaheer, Nadeem, Afzal, Sehra, Amina, Sanai, Allah Rakhi and Shahida.

Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector Liaqat Ali from Kohsar police arrested a thief Rashid Mehmud and recovered valuables worth Rs. 20,000 from him.

ASI Abrar Hussain from Tarnol police nabbed Ubaid for having 30 bore pistol while Koral police arrested Raja Fahad Imtiaz and Raja Shehbaz for possessing one 30 bore pistol each.

Police have registered the cases against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway. SSP Islamabad Muhammad Yousuf Malik has appreciated this performance and directed to maintain high vigilance in the city.
