12 outlaws arrested; wine and weapons seized

Islamabad: Islamabad Police on Tuesday arrested twelve outlaws from various areas of the cities for their alleged involvement in drug peddling, dacoities and recovered 19 wine bottles, weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.

ASI Haider Ali Shah from CIA police arrested five thieves involved in stealing gas kits of vehicles. These persons were identified as Khalil Ahmed, Babar Shehzad, Mohsin Zeb, Gul Rehman and Majid Ali.

Sub-Inspector Muhammad Shafique from Tarnol police arrested Nadeem Shehzad alias Peela and recovered weapon from him. ASI Najeeb Ullah from Sabzi Mandi police apprehended Mansha and recovered 8 MM rifle from him.

Sub-Inspectors Muhammad Ajmal and Muhammad Idrees arrested Khadim Hussain and Farhan Ali besides recovered them a 30 bore pistol and 500 gram hashish respectively.

ASI Tanveer Ahmed from Secretariat police arrested Khurram Shehzad or having 12 bore repeater gun while Sub©Inspector Liaqat Ali and ASI Muhammad Nadeem nabbed Kashif Nadeem, Muhammad Adil for having 19 wine bottles.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway. SSP Islamabad Muhammad Yousuf Malik has appreciated this performance and directed all police officials to intensify patrolling against anti-social elements.
