Minister attends 5th convocation of Islamabad Model College for Girls

Islamabad, August 26, 2014 (PPI-OT): Minister of State, Barrister Usman Ibrahim of Capital Administration and Development Division attended the 5th convocation of Islamabad Model College for Girls (IMCG), F/6-2, as a Chief Guest today.

Minister of state admired the accomplishments and achievements of the institution and congratulated its principal along with the students and teachers of the college. Education is one of the fundamental bases of the progress of any country and we are committed to provide the quality education to our next generation, said the Minister of State.

He said that the students graduating from this college should owe their success to their hardworking teachers. You are going to be entered in your practical life and I am sure that you would use your intelligence and knowledge for the betterment of this country, said the State Minister.

This institution has been the best institution since its inception, it has achieved best institutional awards by FDE and Federal Board several times, he said. On a lighter note, State minister said that the age of this institution and age of his political career is the same, and he wishes it the best of luck and pray for its success.

In the end he congratulated and bid farewell to the outgoing Principal, Prof Rehana Rasheed of the IMCG for successfully completing the tenure of her principal ship at the college.

The function was also attended by the Additional Secretary CADD, teachers, students, parents of the students, and officials of the IMCG.
