Chief Minister Sindh condemns police brutalities on media men

Karachi, August 31, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has strongly condemned the police brutalities on print and electronic media men, while they were reporting the incident of political confrontation/ protest at constitution avenue of Islamabad on Saturday and Sunday.

The Chief Minister Sindh termed this act of police torture/ violence as illegal, unethical, immoral and unacceptable. The Chief Minister Sindh said that democracy guarantees the freedom of expression and it must be uphold. Syed Qaim Ali Shah expressed his sympathies with the victim journalists who were on their professional duties and sustained violence of the police.
